Valorie O'Keefe
Senior Psychologist
Valorie holds international degrees in psychology and is a Registered Psychologist in both Australia and New Zealand, with endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked with clients across various life stages from early childhood to adulthood.
Valorie specialises in cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessments, as well as assessments for gifted students and those with specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia. She has extensive experience in psychometric assessment and diagnosis and has trained other psychologists in the use of psychometric tests. Her lived family experiences of neurodevelopmental diversity, including ADHD and dyslexia, as well as adult dementia, have led to approaches that embrace diversity and acceptance in all stages of life.
Valorie is a full member of the APS, AEDPA, AAPi, and is an International Affiliate of the American Psychological Association. She is also a Fellow of the APS College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists and she has been published in the Journal of Paediatric Rehabilitation.
Outside of work, Valorie enjoys reading, cooking, yoga, travelling, and spending time with her family which includes two crazy cats.
