She has experience supporting children and adolescents presenting with a range of concerns, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, and mood-related challenges.
Taisia takes a warm, relational, and collaborative approach to therapy. She aims to create a safe and supportive space where young people feel understood and comfortable to explore their experiences at their own pace. Her style is gentle and exploratory, incorporating creative and flexible approaches to engage each young person in a way that feels meaningful and accessible to them.
Taisia is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care. She works closely with families and other supports to ensure that therapy is individualised and responsive to each young person’s strengths, needs, and goals. She draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and play-based and creative techniques.
In addition to therapy, Taisia has experience in conducting cognitive, behavioural, and academic assessments, and values using assessment to inform tailored and practical support recommendations.
Outside of work, Taisia enjoys hiking and camping, listening to music, reading, and engaging in creative hobbies such as crochet, knitting, and gardening.
