Claire is our Senior Speech Pathologist and has worked in speech pathology since 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Linguistics and a Masters of Medical Science in Clinical Communication Studies from the University of Sheffield. Claire is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia, with previous experience working in the UK National Health Service.

Claire has extensive experience supporting children and young people from toddlers to teenagers with a wide range of communication needs, including early language development, speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, stuttering, selective mutism, developmental language disorder, autism, and social communication difficulties.

She is passionate about providing neuro-affirming, client-centred care and creating a welcoming environment where children and families feel confident to participate in therapy. Claire particularly enjoys supporting parents with early language development and helping children and young people build confidence in their communication skills.

Claire works closely with families, schools, and other therapists to ensure therapy is tailored to each child's strengths, needs, and goals. She draws on training in approaches including Intensive Interaction, Michael Palin Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Sounds Write, and REST.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, yoga, and spending time with her husband and two boys, who have enthusiastically introduced her to the world of cycling.
