Amy Cannon

Speech Pathologist (commencing 28th April 2025)

Amy completed her Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2021 and has since gained experience across a variety of settings, including working one-on-one with clients, running small group sessions, and providing support within schools and homes. Amy has developed experience working with children from pre-school years and up, and is trained in DIR: Floortime and Sounds Write. She has a particular passion for working with adolescents, creating functional, meaningful goals that build on their strengths and interests.

Amy believes therapy should be both effective and engaging – whether that means weaving a client’s interests into sessions or finding creative ways to support communication in everyday life.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, being creative, catching up with friends, and listening to music.
